• How far will the e-bikes go?
  According to our experiences the range in throttled mode is 40km, in pedal assist mode it is 80 km on flat terrain. Certainly the maximum range is also effected by other factors, like terrain you are riding, the wind, the energy you choose to invest, and your weight.
  
  
• How fast will the e-bikes go?
  The top speed is electronically limited to 26 km/h. You can pedal the bike faster than 26 km/h but motor assistance stops when the speed of the bike exceeds the limit.
  
  
• How long does it take to recharge the batteries?
  Empty batteries will be fully recharged in eight hours or less. Partially depleted batteries recharge obviously more quickly. The more frequently you recharge, the longer the lifetime of the batteries.
  
  
• Do electric bikes recharge themselves with pedaling?
  The e-bikes do not have regenerative pedaling. The amount of power generated would be small in comparison to the additional cost and weight required to accomplish the task. For this reason, the bikes do not include electric generation capability. The way to recharge the batteries is to plug them in.
  
  
• Does the battery require any maintenance?
  The battery is completely maintenance free.
  
  
• Can the bikes be ridden in the rain?
  Yes, the bikes can be ridden in the rain, but do not forget about your raincoat.
